We want to listen together.
We sat with Rendille elders in a manyatta in Kargi, Northern Kenya, and they shared their stories with us. How God made them in the desert, and how He sustains them. We laughed together and waited for the sun to set over the acacia trees. And we want to keep listening.
Let's begin listening to one another. We want to hear what you think about poverty, hunger, injustice, war, the developed world, the developing world, and everything in between. And we want these words and images and songs to begin an authentic conversation. Where we learn from you. And where you learn from one another. Start speaking. Don't be silent.
Email fhglobal@fhi.net with your writings, poetry, photography and songs. Write "listen" in the subject line. Thank you for sharing yourselves with us and others. We will be putting together a book, "Listen," with what you share. Be part of it and let the conversation begin.
